BFC: The Magic Faraway Tree

Based on Enid Blyton’s beloved series of children’s stories, The Faraway Tree, this sweet-natured family film is about Polly (a brilliant engineer) and Tim (a full-time dad) and their children Beth, Joe and Fran. The parents are exasperated by the intrusion of the plugged-in, screen-dominated world and its effect on themselves and their children, and they decide to relocate to the remote English countryside, near where Tim grew up. The children are not impressed. But while exploring the natural world around their new home, they discover a magic tree with some most extraordinary residents, and begin to appreciate their new life.
