British Film Club presenta The Penguin Lessons

During the time of the 1976 coup in Argentina, an English teacher goes to work in an all-boys private school. Expecting an easy ride, Tom (Steve Coogan) finds instead a nation divided and a class of unteachable pupils. However, after he very reluctantly adopts a little penguin he has rescued from an oil-slicked beach in Uruguay, his life is turned upside-down. The first problem is how to keep the penguin hidden from the very strict headmaster, especially since Juan Salvador (as the penguin is affectionately named) is a particularly lively and inquisitive creature. But help is on hand from unexpected quarters.
